Manusmriti was a question raised by a member there are a lot of people in favor and lot against it..why?

Manusmrti defines the laws created by the first person who saved mankind and led to its formation or the progenitor of mankind(Manu as per Hindu Mythology also known as laws of Brahma)

Its been debated as it was written under pressures caused by rise of Buddhism...
